SEO Site Checkup LLC ("SEO Site Checkup", "we", "us") operates the website and services at seositecheckup.com (the "Service"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and how we protect it.

1. WHAT THIS PRIVACY POLICY COVERS

This policy covers how SEO Site Checkup treats personal information that we collect and receive. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable, such as your name or email address, and that is not otherwise publicly available.

This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that SEO Site Checkup does not own or control. Where the Service links to or analyses third-party websites, those sites are governed by their own privacy policies.

2. GOOGLE USER DATA

This section explains specifically how we handle information we receive from Google when you choose "Sign in with Google".

2.1 What we access

We request only the basic, non-sensitive Google scopes "openid", "email" and "profile". From these we receive:

- your Google account email address, and whether it is verified

- your name

- your profile picture URL

We do NOT request or receive access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Search Console, your contacts, your calendar, or any other Google service. We never receive your Google password.

2.2 How we use it

We use this information for one purpose only: to create your SEO Site Checkup account, to recognise you when you sign in again, and to contact you about your account. That is the entire use.

2.3 How we store it and how long we keep it

Your email address, name and profile picture URL are stored in our account database on access-controlled infrastructure. We keep them for as long as your account remains open. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise this information within 30 days.

2.4 Who we share it with

We do not sell Google user data, and we do not transfer it to data brokers. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf so that we can run the Service:

- Amazon Web Services, which hosts our infrastructure and databases

- our transactional email provider, which delivers account emails such as password resets and receipts

We do not send Google user data to any analytics or advertising provider.

2.5 How we protect it

All traffic to and from the Service is encrypted in transit using TLS. Google user data is held on access-controlled infrastructure, and access by our personnel is limited to those who need it in order to operate and support the Service.

2.6 Limited Use

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements: https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy

Specifically, we do not use Google user data for targeted or personalised advertising, we do not sell it to data brokers, we do not use it to determine credit-worthiness or for lending purposes, and we do not use it to develop, improve or train generalised or non-personalised AI or machine-learning models. We do not allow humans to read Google user data, except where you have given explicit consent for specific data, where it is necessary for security purposes or to comply with applicable law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymised.

3. FACEBOOK LOGIN DATA

If you choose "Sign in with Facebook" instead, we request only the "public_profile" and "email" permissions. From these we receive your Facebook user ID, your name and your email address. We never receive your Facebook password, and we do not request access to your friends list, your posts, or any other part of your Facebook account.

We use this information for the same single purpose described in section 2.2: to create your account, to recognise you when you sign in again, and to contact you about your account. It is stored, retained, shared and protected exactly as described in sections 2.3, 2.4 and 2.5, and we do not send it to any analytics or advertising provider.

4. OTHER INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Separately from Google and Facebook sign-in, we also collect:

- Account and billing data: your name, email address and password if you register directly. Passwords are stored only as a salted hash. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor and are never stored on our servers.

- Analysis data: the website URLs you submit for audit, and the reports we generate from them.

- Usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring URL, collected through analytics and advertising cookies set by Google, Microsoft, Reddit and OpenAI measurement tags.

We use this information to provide and improve the Service, to manage your subscription, to support you, and to measure the performance of our marketing.

You can review and change your cookie and advertising choices at any time using the privacy choices link in the footer of our website.

5. YOUR CHOICES

- Delete your account and data: email information@seositecheckup.com and we will action your request.

- Revoke Google access: you can disconnect SEO Site Checkup from your Google account at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. This stops future sign-ins but does not by itself delete the account you created with us.

- Revoke Facebook access: you can remove SEO Site Checkup from the Apps and Websites section of your Facebook settings. As above, this stops future sign-ins but does not by itself delete your SEO Site Checkup account.

- Stop marketing email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us.

6. CHILDREN

The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where the changes are material, notify you by email or by a notice on the Service before they take effect.
